Operating at a PMC level, you will serve as the primary strategic anchor ensuring that long-lead items and critical materials are seamlessly integrated with the master project schedule. This role requires an expert in international logistics, customs navigation, and fast-track project delivery, capable of driving close coordination across construction, procurement, and commercial teams to prevent project bottlenecks.
Responsibilities

- Long-Lead Items Tracking: Proactively manage, track, and expedite high-risk, long-lead equipment and materials from global factories to the project site.
- International Logistics & Customs Governance: Oversee complex international freight forwarding, maritime transport, and customs clearance processes, mitigating port delays and compliance risks.
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Facilitate relentless coordination between Construction, Procurement, and Commercial teams to reconcile budget, contract terms, and physical site requirements.
- Fast-Track Project Delivery: Deploy agile supply chain solutions and alternative routing strategies to meet aggressive, fast-track development timelines.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management is mandatory.
- Advanced Degree: Master’s degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management is preferred.
- Acceptable Alternative: Strong, proven track record of managing logistics and supply chains on mega projects can fully substitute for postgraduate studies.
- 12–18+ years of total experience in supply chain and logistics management.
- Borderline Consideration: 10–11 years of experience may be evaluated if the candidate exhibits stellar mega-project credentials.
- Strict Cutoff: Candidates with less than 10 years of experience will not be considered.
- Industry Background: Direct experience working within a PMC, Developer, or Tier-1 International Contractor environment is highly preferred.
- Project Profile: Hands-on experience working on mega-scale infrastructure or large-scale property development environments is mandatory.
- Global Trade Expertise: Comprehensive, functional understanding of international logistics, global shipping lane constraints, and customs regulations.
- Critical Path Management: Ability to accurately forecast supply chain risks and identify how long-lead items impact the overall construction schedule.
- Stakeholder & Matrix Management: Exceptional diplomatic and negotiation skills to coordinate effectively across distinct commercial, technical, and site delivery teams.
- Resilience in Fast-Track Environments: Proven capacity to manage volatile supply lines, high-pressure deadlines, and rapid project alterations without compromising compliance or quality.
- Professional Supply Chain / Logistics Certifications (such as APICS CSCP/CPIM or equivalent) are preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a distinct advantage.
- Formal advanced training in International Logistics and modern Incoterms applications is a strong advantage.
Benefits
- Macro-Scale Impact: Complete ownership over the complex logistics footprint of legacy-defining mega projects.
- Executive Visibility: A high-level PMC role driving critical-path material strategies directly alongside executive project leadership.
- Dynamic Professional Culture: Collaboration within an elite project management ecosystem flanked by top-tier technical and financial experts.
